Ringfall Corridor

Korumbra

Meteor festival tonight. Bring a helmet.

Spectacular debris rings arc across Korumbra's sky and shed cyclical meteor showers. Settlements live in domed caravans that migrate to stay out of the impact zones.

The meteor festivals are legendary, and lightly dangerous.

Korumbra has the grandest rings in the region, wide bands of ice and rock that stretch across the sky. Every few weeks, a piece breaks loose and falls, streaking across the violet dusk as a fireball.

The people of Korumbra treat the ringfall as a celebration. They have festivals for every big shower, with music, food and a lot of people pointing upward.

Atmosphere

Violet dusk, streaked with fire.

Local quirk

Festival fireworks are entirely natural and entirely unsafe.

Ring Around the Problem

Someone stole Korumbra's ring-routing system. Now debris is drifting toward Earth's flight lanes.

The stolen routing system is aboard a ship heading for Earth's busiest orbital ring, and Grimlash has left a party invitation behind as a distraction.

Earthward stakes

Debris could rain on Earth's busiest traffic rings.
